The Rehabiliitation centre supported by R4TW in 2008 focuses on people wishing to recover from substance abuse, giving them new hope and a chance to start life again.
 It began in 2003 in a small apartment in the city. Within a year it outgrew these premises and moved to separate houses in a nearby village.
Currently the centre is home to 20 male and 15 female former addicts. Addicts join for a 2 year programme of detoxification and rehabilitation. This project has been recognised by the local government as making a real difference in people's lives.
The centre is 80% reliant on donations for its operating costs. Drug addicts in
this area are generally impoverished people, and although the centre is respected
by local authorities, it does not receive any government support.
Your support will help provide heating, re-build the men's dormitory and cover food
and more for up to 40 residents.
