In 2007 R4TW began. Friends ran together from Auckland to Guatemala. In total we raised 11 000 US Dollars for the following good causes. Read here about them and what we did with the money!
Ball of Many Colours
SportsLink purchased 2000 of these balls in 2007. They have been used around the world and people from all types of backgrounds have had fun and learnt a lot through the story it tells.
Moldova sports training centre project
R4TW partners OM Moldova opened their training centre in late 2007. Already 100s of people have passed through its doors, and that is even before the gas heating for the bedrooms has been supplied! Take a look at the court R4TW 2007 helped to finance.
AIDSLink/Love & Life
AIDSLink appreciated the gift given by R4TW in 2007. "We helped various projects in Africa and educational seminars in other parts of the world through your funds", said Rose Hack, AIDSLink director. Click here for photos of the sports project funded by R4TW 2007.
Aktobe Orphanage Programme
Operation Mercy used the funds provided by R4TW to keep the orphanage programme going for one more year.
